This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoë, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Rose and Mia

I was blessed to be able to not only go to Asa's fieldtrip last week but also go to Rose's field trip this past Monday! Just love these moments with them. Thanks, Mom, for watching Elijah and Grace while I spent some time with Rose! Mrs. Pilgrim scheduled them to go see Charlotte's Web at the RiverCenter in BR. It was a cute play that kept all the children's attention. They then went to McDonald's for lunch and some playtime! Rose seemed to enjoy every part of her day. Love you, Rose!

Asa's Field Trip!

Have I told y'all lately that I love being a Mom! Love it! I love love preschool and elementary school age groups! They are just so much fun. Asa's field trip was this week and thank you, Mom, for watching the kiddos at home so I could go with him. We went to see a play about your health: Mr. SlimGoodBody or something like that. Mrs. Christian (whom we love) did a great job at picking at an educational fieldtrip. I did pay attention but I was more excited about watching how Asa reacted to what he was seeing. He was all smiles as he got in line to go ride on the school bus and then all smiles as he sat in his seat with his friends. I sat two rows behind him. At one point Mr. SlimGoodbody wanted some volunteers and all hands were raised..... except Asa's! He is so funny. He acts so shy in front of others. I love him! After the show the children went back to school and had pizza. It was a good day :) It's a WONDERFUL LIFE!! :)

Asa walking after getting his name called for having Honor Roll.
He walked so fast that it was hard to get a good picture of him.

Mia got a stand-out for overall something.
I forgot what it was for but we are so proud of her.

Poppy giving Rose some roses!

Wonderful Mrs. Salemi with Rose. What a God-send of teachers we had for our children!
Mrs. Pilgrim was Asa's wonderful God-send teacher!!
and Mrs. Mary Beth was Zoë's

Noooooo Elijah is not throwing a fit at all! ;)

Rose and Asa finished the school year strong! We are so proud of both of them! Asa finished the 1st grade as an Honor Roll student. Great job, son!! Rose finished Kindergarten and learned so much! School and First trip to Dentist!

Rose and Grace had their first trip to the dentist and they were so brave!! Rose had one scared moment but the dental hygienist was amazing and gentle and explained everything so well! Thanks, Dr. Braun's office!!

School is going great! Asa and Rose love their teachers and they love their friends! The wonderful thing about their friends is that two are their cousins Ethan and Mia. They come home everyday and tell me how they played with them at recess. I could not be more excited about their first year at school. And actually we love all our children's teachers. Anthony has an awesome teacher who is working hard with Anthony. Zoë is in a special needs class and her teacher and paraprofessionals are awesome. She loves them and so do we! And Henry is in a great Christian high school where he is doing awesome! We could not be more proud of our children in their school. Grace will be homeschooled this year K4 Kindergarten. She is so excited and I expect Elijah will be sitting by her side during "class".
