This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Sewing Pattern cover photoshoot!

this one will be the cover for the Reversible Pleated Dress Top

and matching Boutique Shorts sewing pattern.

this one is so cute! Annalyce was telling me she just couldn't hold her pose anymore. This picture reminds me that they are still just sweet little babies. :)

this one is super cute but the first go round of picture taking I did not look at each picture and almost all the first group of pictures were brightly glowing :) this was the best I could do to retrieve any of the color.

Today was a day of accomplishment! Well, it actually started yesterday when Mom came over and told me to go and not come back until 5p. She even took over carpool to pick up all the kiddos! Wow! I was able to go shopping and was blessed to hit a $5 sale at one of my favorite stores. I bought 10 shirts for $5 each and a $5 purse that I absolutely love! Yay! Thanks, Mom! Then today my sisnlaw, Jill, said she would watch Elijah and Grace so I can work on SewSensible. I was able to sew two Boutique Bottoms and get some computer work done and then I decided to get the next outfits for the next pattern cover and go to Jill's and take pictures of Grace and Annalyce. I am so glad that they came out good! These are a few of today's pictures.

Adoption Support Group Fellowship, Dress Top for me and New Sewing Pattern!

We had our adoption fellowship at our home last week! You can go to our orphan adoption blog and see all our blessings of the day! Also, our 4th was great..... no plans (I mean absolutely no plans)..... we did not even know what we were eating for lunch until Tommy went to the store at 10a that morning!! We sat outside relaxed and watched the little ones play in their kiddie pools and that was it..... so I have to say it was a great day!! Hope yours was great too!

Oh, and I have a new SewSensible sewing pattern that I released last week and I am actually working on a Women's Dress Top! I made a couple for me which I enjoyed so much!! I had to use whatever fabric I had so this one was made using different prints!

Oh, they loved this! and Happy Birthday, Anthony!

Happy Birthday, Anthony!! The best part of seeing this picture is that Anthony is not living in an orphanage!! Praise God that He chose Anthony to be our son!

Leave it to my Mom to give our children a bunch of sugar!!!!! LOL And boy did they love this! And to think she was so sugar-conscience when me and Matt were young!! Grandparents are so funny..... but a blessing!!

And this is what I have been doing in between home life: filling another wholesale order for SewSensible! This is a little under half of the order. I am waiting on more of my supplies but because of the holidays it is taking a little longer to get here than they said it would. This is so exciting to me!! It's work but very exciting!

Heart Gallery, Adoption Workshop, and Children playing!

Here are some catch up pictures and a video of Elijah repeating his abc's. He sounds so cute!! As you will see, the wall behind us has been touched by the toddlers. This is the real us..... torn wall and all!! The pictures above are of Anthony giving Grace, Rose, and Elijah a turn on this bike. I don't know what it is called but the children love this bike!!

We have been busy. We were blessed to set up the Heart Gallery at the 10th Annual Adoption Celebration at the Governor's mansion last week. They celebrated many foster children adoptions. My Mom and I went and it was such a blessing! The pictures are below. Today we had our quarterly Adoption Workshop which is always awesome. I am walking down a new path with SewSensible. I have designed and created my sewing patterns on cd to sell to vendors at wholesale. I say vendors but I actually just got my first vendor. This is very exciting and I see I will be busy in 2009 with this new path..... a good kind of busy. Oh, the vendor is AllBrands. This is a favorite store for me and Mom! Go check it out!! How exciting!!

All the children are playing and growing and testing their boundaries!! LOL They are a blessing and Tommy and I are so blessed! Tommy has been busy with just.... well, just going to work and providing for our family! He is awesome! The 40SAP fast ends today!! During this fast I was and am believing for a move of God in some specific areas in our life. I will blog about them as they come about! The purpose of the 40SAP fast was to lead right into miracle offering at church. Tomorrow should be a pretty amazing day and 2009 should be even better!

This week I hope to actually visit all the cooking blogs I posted on my sidebar. I just could not do it the last 40 days..... it would have been way too tempting and painful!! LOL I will have to post some of the recipes I hope to try from those blogs! Can't wait!

Too Too Cute!!

Don't think I am the only one who loves my sewing!! Grace and Rose love it too!! I think their favorite part is taking the pictures! This is my next sewing pattern I am designing: the Simple Sunday Dress! No buttons and no zippers!! Great for the beginner!! And it is just so sweet looking!! I did not finish the bottom yet but it will have an optional ruffle at the bottom. I have not even put this on my sewing blog yet because I am having a pattern giveaway but I will introduce this one Sunday night.
Don't the girls look so sweet!!

Whopper Bumps, Big Girl Reading, "Mommy" time, and Sewing Pattern!

Grace reading to Elijah. This reminds me SO MUCH of me and Matt reading on our rocking chair when we were young! I would read to Matt (or at least make up a story like Grace is doing) :)

Grace just LOVES when Angela and Angel come over. I think Elijah loves it too because it gives him a break from "Mommy" Grace. Grace is enjoying feeding Angel in this picture.

And here is our whopper bump!! OMGosh!! It was huge! It was so huge we ran next door to our neighbor who is a physicians assistant. This broke me!! He did great though and was playing like normal not long after this.

My next sewing pattern that will be ready soon: SewSensible Scoop Dress Top!

The girls letting me take a quick snapshot of them in their dresses!
Reading time with Poppy!!

That would be a Mess!!

Every spare moment I have found these past several days has been spent working on my next sewing pattern, FAITH. So many people ask me how do I find time for SewSensible with all my children. Well.....here is a small glimpse into what happens when I try to do something with SewSensible. It started with a bowl of cheerios as a snack by the living room doors and ended with Elijah and Grace trampling on the spilled bowl of cheerios!! They REALLY challenge my patience sometimes!! LOL But ohhhhh do I love them!
