This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

A Visit, A Newsletter, a Sewing Pattern and a Men's Conference!

Today we were blessed with a visit from the Rohner's! We were blessed to first meet them at one of our adoption workshops last year and we have since become friends. They are an awesome family with two precious children and a desire in their heart to adopt! I can't wait to meet their future son/daughter!!

I have been trying to educate myself on html newsletters. I am not up-to-date on all the techi stuff but slowly I am teaching myself a few things. I just found a great newsletter mailing list that I subscribed to for "His Heart for Orphans". I have been working on that today and tonight but needed a break. I don't know so much of it and am doing it by trial and error to say the least! I hope to have it ready by this week! I sent me a sample and it looked so professional!! I can't take credit for that because now a days you just insert text and graphics and tables and it's done and I am still having difficulty!! I'll let you know when it is ready and send it to you to read! Our newsletters are always inspirational for the person who has a heart for the orphan!

I have also been working on my next sewing pattern Hope Joy! I am excited about this one. I have to give all the glory to God that I can even do this! It is ONLY God!! If you have time, go to my sewing blog and see the awesome Mommy and GrandMommy custom creations they have been making!!
Tommy is at HPC Men's Conference tonight! This is their first Men's Conference with some awesome speakers lined up Zhenya from Kiev, Kevin Mawae, Coach Bill McCartney, Joel Abel and Jason Ryder singing!! I went to the Women's Conference last year and it was awesome. I am looking forward to this year's conference!
I hope all of you are having a blessed weekend!!

Welcome Friends! Ciao Friends!

We have had the privilege of being able to have some of our friends from Peru in our home this week! Doris and Lucia are two missionary women in Peru that raised Rose, one of our daughters, at Asociacion Cristiana El Refugio the first two years of her life! They truly are women of God that work hard at what God has called them to do. The orphanage they run is more like a home than a place that houses children. They treat each child as their own. We really could see a difference in Rose versus our other Peruvian children who were raised in different orphanages. Thank you, Doris and Lucia, for pouring God's love into Rose!! And thank you for taking your time to come and be our guests in our home. We truly enjoyed your visit!!

Hello, Family and Friends!

I just want to take this time to say hello to my Aunt Peggy!!!!! Hello, Aunt Peg!! She sent me the sweetest note to let me know how much she enjoys reading this blog. Thank you so much for all the kind words you wrote!

Also, I want to send a big hello to my friend in Spain, Maria Elena!!! Hello, Maria Elena!! Maria Elena accidentally found our blog while on the internet. Maria Elena and her family, Alfonso (her father), Maria Elena (her Mom), and Karina (her sister) are our lawyers and the reason we had such a wonderful beautiful time while in Peru to adopt five of our children. They were the first to tell us about Zoe's three older siblings (Heidi, Henry, and Anthony) and then they were the first to tell us about Rose! They are very dear to our heart!! And with much sadness because he is no longer with us, Alfonso went to be with our Lord in Janury of this year. Alfonso loved the children of Peru especially the orphans of Peru. Now, his family is continuing his passion to help orphans get a family to call their own!
