This Week's Scripture
"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26
This Week's Prayer!
We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.
I just love the way God speaks to me about the same thing in different ways. Me and my sister in law were just talking about this yesterday.
At the top of my blog posts I have a prayer that I pray for my children for the whole week. Well, this week is about purity. Then in the middle of the week my Mom called to give me a scripture for my oldest son to memorize (she had know idea about my prayer this week. she does not have a computer to view my blog.) Anyway, she said, "Aimee', God laid on my heart Psalm 119:9 for Henry to memorize." I told her Ok and we finished our conversation and hung up. Later that day I told Henry to go get my bible and read Psalm 119 and then I told him I wanted him to memorize verse 9. He read it out loud to me.
NLT - Psa 119:9 "How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word and following its rules."
After we read this together and discussed its meaning I went inside to call Mom to tell her this was our prayer for this week. We both gave Glory to God. Then this morning I see on my Motivation for Moms daily scripture to the right of my blog is about purity!! Praise God!!!

Psalm 19:10"They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb."

1 Peter 2:1 "So get rid of all malicious behavior and deceit. Don't just pretend to be good! Be done with hypocrisy and jealousy and backstabbing."
2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in the special favor and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be all glory and honor, both now and forevermore. Amen."
Our family is going through a hard battle right now. No, I don't mean amongst each other. We are going through a spiritual battle. I don't know if you believe in spiritual battles or not but I am here to say they are very real. This past week I have talked to people that don't believe spiritual battles exist and then I have been connected to those this past week that do believe they exist. I am here to say spiritual battles are very real! There is an enemy that wants to kill, steal, and destroy you, your family, your children, your dreams, your relationship with God (I could go on and on).
In Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms."
This is the spiritual battle my family is going through. However, the scripture before this one says,
"Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil."
This is what my family is doing..... putting on the whole armour of God! Warring for our family!
Years ago I came across an amazing prayer book called Prayers that avail much. There is one prayer in particular that me and Tommy have prayed this week. If you or your family or a friend are under spiritual attack feel free to click on
this prayer to stop what the enemy is trying to do!
These are the scriptures I am speaking over my children this week.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them."
Happy Mother's Day, Mom!!
Happy Mother's Day, Mom Trixie!!
My sister-in-law and I were talking yesterday about the importance of a Praying Mother. Tommy and I would not have the children we have today, I believe, if we had not prayed for them. Now, I believe, prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children! Ohhhhh, where would I be without the prayers of my Mom. I will be posting prayers that I will be praying for my children that I have taken from
The Prayer Closet Ministries. I will post a prayer every week and the scriptures I will be speaking over my children for that week. Feel free to join me! Just add your children's name in place of mine.
