This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Christmas Tree and Stocking fun!

It's so funny because I really don't think we have a lot of children until I saw the stockings up! LOL! There will be no Mommy-made Christmas stockings this year. I do plan to make each of them a stocking one year. Maybe next year will be the year! This year the great $1.00 stockings will have to do! They love them so we are happy. Also, you will notice the picture with our Christmas tree fence..... Tommy was outside in the shed getting the fence when one of the ornaments was broken by Elijah! He just could not resist hitting one. Oh, and the question of the night is...... "How is Santa going to reach the stockings?" asked Asa! Ho Ho Ho!!

We had fun hanging ornaments on our tree tonight! Only two broke so that is a great night!! LOL Also, if you are looking for an easy Christmas ornament to make then go check out my sewing blog..... and these will not break!!

Wow, when you look at the stocking, all hung with care, but no chimney, lol, looks like really a lot. But with 10 Grands, I know I have a lot. And good ole fence, still coming in handy. Well I'm sure Elijah thought it was a little ball that he could play with. Grandma never thought to tell you, I have a box full of tree ornaments that we don't use, some I think are from when Tommy was little. I know all my little Grands are very excited about the tree. Love to all, Grandma

LOVE the pictures. Especially the sepia one.

Yes, you do have a lot of kids! =) But it's all in perspective isn't it? I looked at our Christmas card without our Ethiopian kids in it and it looked to me like we had a small family with only four. Some others might disagree. Perspective!
