This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Christmas is here!

Asa finishing up singing Christmas carols! He and Rose have been singing around the house preparing for today! It was hard to get a great picture of them singing because k4-2nd grade were all squished together but they sounded great and they were so excited to do this!

Rose and Mia just finishing singing Christmas carols!
Ethan was somewhere there but did not see him AT ALL!

It's that time of year and this family LOVES Christmas! I look forward to the day after Thanksgiving to start doing everything Christmas and so do our children (now is I can get that way with the shopping then that would be awesome!) Our tree is up and decorated and the stockings are hung by the chimney.... hmmm mmm..... I mean sliding glass door ;) (all except Heidi who took hers home last year). I know, for a Mom who sews you would think we would have some great looking homemade stockings huh? Next year I keep telling myself! no really next year!! The kids don't care though, they just love seeing them hung and their names on them. And so do I! And through all the wish I would have done this and I hope to do this next year..... this family embraces the reason for this season..... the birth of Jesus! I love that our children know the meaning of Christmas and talk about how Jesus' birthday is coming! He is what Christmas is all about for us! Thank you, Lord, for You! The greatest gift we could ever receive.

And today me and Tommy and GrandMother CC and Grandma and Grampa went to Asa and Rose's school and listened to them sing Christmas carols! Such sweet moments to cherish! We are a blessed family!! (Note: I had taken many pictures and one of the Grandmothers but it came out blurry! or it would be on here.)
