This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoë, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Swinging, Playing, Frogs, Bikes, Servolution, Movies, Fishing.....

Sun in our eyes!
A little over a week ago Tommy and I were going to take the children to see UP but we remembered that Elijah and Zoë do not make it through movies and I end up taking them out and missing the movie. So we decided to go to the movies two different days. Tommy and the boys went on Friday and me, Grace, and Rose went on Saturday. It was so much fun to spend time with them and to actually get to watch an entire movie and eat all the buttered popcorn I could eat!! Mom came to say hello to us before the movie!
Oh, and UP was excellent (except for the sad part!!)

Swinging together like we used to do but I believe they are almost too big for this!

Asa swinging in the backyard! They love this swing!

Zoë on her favorite mode of transportation!

Asa and Elijah's new favorite way to help Mommy in the kitchen!

content with NO water in the pool! Love them!!

My Man the Man!!!!! HA!!

teaching them patience!

Buddy Aiden came over one day!

Tommy took the boys fishing at the neighbor's pond!

All the kiddos LOVE the lizards and frogs around the house!
Can't say I do!!

Got to serve a free lunch to our local foster care workers!
Cooking for Christ brought the delicious food and we served it to the awesome OCS workers!

i think me finding your blog was a "God-thing". My husband and I are currently in the very long and often frustrating process of trying to adopt a child here in Mozambique where we live and work as missionaries. I was looking for random childrens items online when i saw a picture of a handsewn "pillow case dress". I dont sew.. but it looked easy enough so i typed that into google- and your blog was the first one to come up- then i notice that you have an adoption blog.. so i go there... then i notice you run an adoption ministry! your story has encouraged me... at a time when i was feeling quite discouraged about the whole process. blessings on you and your entire family- I hope that one day soon we will be welcoming a new member to our family as well! God Bless, Heather- check out our blog at rickandheather.blogspot.com
