A Visit, A Newsletter, a Sewing Pattern and a Men's Conference!
Today we were blessed with a visit from the Rohner's! We were blessed to first meet them at one of our adoption workshops last year and we have since become friends. They are an awesome family with two precious children and a desire in their heart to adopt! I can't wait to meet their future son/daughter!!
I have been trying to educate myself on html newsletters. I am not up-to-date on all the techi stuff but slowly I am teaching myself a few things. I just found a great newsletter mailing list that I subscribed to for "His Heart for Orphans". I have been working on that today and tonight but needed a break. I don't know so much of it and am doing it by trial and error to say the least! I hope to have it ready by this week! I sent me a sample and it looked so professional!! I can't take credit for that because now a days you just insert text and graphics and tables and it's done and I am still having difficulty!! I'll let you know when it is ready and send it to you to read! Our newsletters are always inspirational for the person who has a heart for the orphan!
I have also been working on my next sewing pattern Hope Joy! I am excited about this one. I have to give all the glory to God that I can even do this! It is ONLY God!! If you have time, go to my sewing blog and see the awesome Mommy and GrandMommy custom creations they have been making!!
Tommy is at HPC Men's Conference tonight! This is their first Men's Conference with some awesome speakers lined up Zhenya from Kiev, Kevin Mawae, Coach Bill McCartney, Joel Abel and Jason Ryder singing!! I went to the Women's Conference last year and it was awesome. I am looking forward to this year's conference!
I hope all of you are having a blessed weekend!!

Aimee,
You need to share your secret with me!! How in the world are you able to do everything you do??? I have two kids of my own and babysit 2 others and then get 2 more off the bus in the afternoon til their parents get home. I do good to get the laundry done and supper cooked every night!! PLEASE tell me how you do it!! I am in awe :-)

Believe me....there is no secret, Lesley! It may look smooth and good in a blog but behind the "scenes" is a Mommy who gets frustrated at times!!!!! I am a busy body anyway so having many projects fits me!!
I LOVE your adoption story! My husband plan on adopting someday.
Popped over from the CWO blogroll and thought I'd say hi.
