This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Blogging with a Purpose!

I just had to post about this award. I have been known to get some blogging awards in the past and not post about them! Definitely not because I am not honored but because of just finding the time to award others and post about it! This one I had to post about from my dear "blogging friend", Penless Writer. I will do my best to award five others as well!

This award was created by Eric Novak at Blogging with a Purpose. Here’s how it works:Awarded parties must nominate five people who have not received the award. The blogs that receive the award must serve some purpose. In their post about the award they need to link back to this entry.Awarded parties must post the award banner on their site. The banner must remain linked to the above linked site.

Here is what Penless Writer, Susan, said about me: Aimee of Adopted As His Own. Just go to Aimee's blog and look at the beautiful picture of their family as her header and you will see why I have selected her. She is not only mother to EIGHT beautiful children but even creates beautiful patterns for childrens clothing on her SewSensible site. Aimee your entire life has a purpose and I am honored to know you.
Susan, I am truly touched by this award and by a huge compliment to me and my family. Thank you! Wow!! It made me actually think again and remember the reason I started blogging. For one, it was an outlet for me during some pretty tough parenting moments with our eight children. I was desperate for adult connection and blogging allowed that need for me. But overall, my blog's purpose is to bring Glory to God for Who He is and what He has done and will be doing in my family's lives! I hope it has brought hope to other couples who may be going through infertility or just wondering about God's faithfulness. I am here to say His plans are more than we can hope or dream of..... sometimes the hard part is actually turning it all over to Him! I love Him!!
So, let me pick five bloggers who blog with a purpose. Hmmmm! I am being interrupted by two children demanding my attention right now. I will finish this post later. See this is what happens!! LOL

Thank you Aimee. I know how busy you are and I didn't know if this would even fit into a slice of your precious time.
