This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

Sew*ng P*ttern Business

I have ventured into the pattern business! It has been very interesting on many levels. I always knew I would create and sell something, I just didn't know which idea I would venture down! Well, the Sew*ng P*ttern business is it! I love it however it has not been without bumps in the road. First, I am doing all this in "windows" of opportunity as I raise our seven children at home (number eight is not living with us). With five little ones around me daily, it is a bit challenging to complete what I want to complete on a given day in regards to SewSensible. The other thing I did not think about was the stress of pleasing the customer! This is huge for me. I just don't want to sell patterns, I want the person who buys my patterns to have a very enjoyable experience and hopefully will reuse the patterns over and over again like I do! But I did not think about computer issues, download problems, technology!! I have the product but to get it in the customer's hand is where I have run into some bumps! HOWEVER, I have committed this to God and I know He is not only in charge of me and my family and our life but also in this small business venture I am undertaking!

Your patterns are fabulous. It is easy to see how you want your customers to enjoy your patterns. They clearly will!! :) I sure do! I am hoping to get sewing on these two items asap.

Blessings upon blessings!! :)
