This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

"Train up a child in the way he should go....."

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Isn't this just the hardest scripture!! I mean, it would be so easy to give in to the whining and the crying just to make it STOP!! But no, as usual, God requires the narrow path! Isn't it just like God! I know this is the path for me but it is not without some work! "Lord, I will happily stay on this path and I will wait expectantly to see the fruit of our labor come out of our children!

Just look at that reward at the end of this narrow path!!

I received an email from one of my highschool classmates, Crystal! Hello, Crystal! It was a blessing to me to hear that she and her family are serving God!! Can't wait to see you at the reunion, Crystal!

Love the picture you choose to teach this lesson!!

I am looking at the scripture, at this point in my life from a different perspective than you. I stand firmly on that scripture that my children WILL not depart from what they were taught about Jesus and salvation. It is a great comfort to know that God is true to His word, even when all the visual evidence may be to the contrary.
