This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoƫ, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

2008 Election!

I have never been a huge voice for the presidential election, really I haven't been a big voice for any political platform but this election I plan to research, dig into, learn more, and speak up. I definitely have my opinions about all the important issues: abortion, energy, environment, immigration, Iraq, and taxes and if asked I will not hesitate to give my opinion. I will say that abortion is one of my top deciding factors and then I go from there. I will never vote for a candidate that is pro-choice. I will not have that blood on my hands. However, after saying that, for those who are reading this and might have experienced an abortion, God does forgive if we ask Him and it is not for me to judge anybody who has made this choice. I have loved and love several key people in my life that walked this path. So this year you can look for more "politics" on this blog and I would love to read some of your comments whether you agree or disaree with me.

I am sure a lot of us will be speaking out about the elections next year. Hopefully this will help make all of us better voters who make wise choices. I like McCann and supported him last time but I think he's too honest and forthright to be elected :o(

Your much braver then me. I LET people comment but when it comes to Politics, I don't enjoy the debate.

I think this election I am more unsure then ever. Like I put on my blog, I will have to really pray about who to vote for. I do not think there is a clear choice, atleast not to me.
