This Week's Scripture

"Nor shall you bring an abomination into your house, lest you be doomed to destruction like it." Deuteronomy 7:26

This Week's Prayer!

We invite Your Holy Spirit to dwell in these rooms, which belongs to Henry, Anthony, Zoë, Asa, Rose, Grace, and Elijah, and in Heidi, Angel, and Angela's room. You are Lord over heaven and earth, and we proclaim that You are Lord over their rooms as well. Flood it with Your light and life. We pray that You, Lord, will make their rooms a holy place, sanctified for Your glory. And may You also dwell in our room and in each one of our extended family and friend's rooms.

10:10

John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly."

As usual, God was right on time to reassure me through another hard time that He has come so that I may have life more abundantly. Today, I was anxious about some miscommunication or lack of my understanding the communication about an event I am planning. Needless to say, while I was letting this weigh me down, I had an 8 month old on one hip, a two year old holding onto my legs crying that she wanted a snack, and two four year olds not far behind and then I get a call from my six year olds school telling me I have to come get my six year old right now and take her to the doctor because the bus had a small accident and glass spewed all over her. I paused for a few seconds and said, "Ok, so she is Ok?" Yes was the answer so I then said, "Now I can not just run over there. I have to get a babysitter, call the doctor, and make an appointment." You can tell the person on the other end thought a few negative thoughts about me. I immediately hung up the phone and called my most awesome husband who calmed me down, called the school to get more details and then called his sweet Dad to come watch the toddlers while I took our six year old to the doctor. So just when I thought I would really lose it, my most awesome husband calls to tell me Zoë's appointment is at 10:10. I asked him to repeat the time and knew instantly it was God telling me everything is Ok and that He would not only take care of my concerns but that He would provide abundantly through all this! Praise God!!

Zoë is fine! The miscommunication is understood! And Grace has eaten and is full!!

Love it. My number is seven. For the being the seventh home of my three year old boy.
Psalm 12:6
And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified SEVEN times.

actually my number that signifies the Holy Spirit to me is 5. Quick story: I used to be obsessed with 5, multiples of 5, etc... a friend of mine I used to work with told me to stop it that I was obsessed. I started feeling maybe I was acting a little ridiculous over the number 5 so I tried and tried to stop focusing on 5 and then one day me and my friend were sitting in a bible study and before bible study a preacher on TV very strongly started saying "5, 5....55555!" My friend and I looked at each other quickly with mouths dropped and I instantly said, "I'm back on it!!!!" And for the past seven plus years, God has used this number tremendously to talk and comfort me. 5 also stands for the Grace of God hence the name of my youngest daughter, Grace!!
